でも理由はそれだけではないと思う。
「書く」ためには、もう少し先手を取って動く生活が必要。
後手に回るようでは、「書く」力はない。
書くことないのに無理に書くようなのもやりたくはないけど、たまにはブログの存在を思い出して、更新頻度を暮らしぶりの一つの目安にしてみるのもいいかもしれない。

New Year's Eve
年末カウントダウンイベントを目指し、マリーナベイへ。
New year countdown @ Marina Bay.
Jazz band was playing.
Water/light/sound show.
水がスクリーンになってるんです。
これは毎日やってるって説もありますがね。
The screen is made of water.
This show is played everyday, I heard.
Here is the Marina Bay Sands, which is more colorful than usual.
そしてついに花火が！
…カウントダウンは聞こえませんでした。たぶん、近くにスピーカーがなかったから。
Finally, the fireworks started!
I couldn't here the countdown because there was no speaker around me...
花火が終わったら、みんなけっこうすぐに帰っていきました。
As soon as the fireworks finished, people started going back.

Christmas photo walk in Singapore
シンガポールのクリスマス、イルミネーションを写真に収めるべく、仲間と街に繰り出しました。
On the Christmas Day, I went to the city to take photo of the illumination with my friends.
タングリンモールから出発。
We started from the Tanglin Mall.
オーチャードロードのアイオン。
ION @ Orchard Road.
人でごった返すオーチャードロード。
Crowded Orchard Road.
ステージで歌手が歌っています。
A singer was singing on the stage.
腹話術師も。
After the singer, ventriloquy appeared.
ティファニーのクリスマスツリー。
Tree by Tiffany.
いろんなクリスマスツリーがあります。
There was a variety of christmas tree.
道ばたに聖歌隊。
Choir beside of the street.
チョコレートのクリスマスツリー、を模したもの。
(Fake) chocolate tree.
オーチャードロードを離れ、シティーホール駅へ。
Away from Orchard Road, we came to the City Hall Station.
ラッフルズホテル。
Raffles Hotel.
たくさん歩いたら暑くなりました。
これが南の島のクリスマスです。
I felt hot after walking .
This is the christmas in the southern island.

Night Safari
ナイトサファリに行ってきました。
ナイトサファリって、単に夜の動物園じゃなくて、動物園の隣にある別の場所なんです。
（ちょっと前まで知らなかった〜。）
残念なことに、写真は全然撮れていません。
だって、暗いから。
満月の月明かりくらいの照明で動物が見えるけど、iPhoneしか持ってなかったし、カメラがあったとしてもフラッシュ撮影は禁止なので、写真はなかなか難しいのです。
ともあれ、夜に動物達を見るのは楽しいです。
普通の動物園で昼間に見ても寝てたりあんまり動かなかったりする動物達が、歩き回ったり食事をしていたりするんです。
サファリについて最初は、トラムに乗って園内をめぐりました。
そのあと、徒歩でも回りました。
トラムは日本語ガイドのものもあったのですが、時間の都合で英語ガイドの方に乗車。
どうにかこうにか聞き取れたので、ちゃんと楽しめました。
中でも一番興奮したのが、コウモリのところ。
友達のオススメで行ったのですが、オオコウモリが人間の歩いて行く周りを飛んでいたり、バナナやスイカなどの餌を食べていたりするのです。
一緒に行った友達は怖がっていましたが…。
別のある友達は、これまでのシンガポール生活8ヶ月の間に3回ナイトサファリに行った、と言っていました。
今ならば、その気持ちがわかります。

I went to the Night Safari.
It is "next to" the Singapore Zoo.
It means that... the Night Safari and the Zoo are different places, not just a zoo at night.
A difficult thing with blogging this site is photo.
The Safari is in the dark, there are only lights as blight as the full moon.
I had only my iPhone with me and couldn't take nice photo.
Even if you have a nice camera, it's still not easy to take good photos because you can't use flush light there for the animals.
Anyway it was really fun to watch the animals moving in the dark!
Some animals are usually sleeping in the daytime and I had only seen them sleeping or moving slowly.
BUT they are lively walking or eating at night!!
I rode a tram and went around the Safari at first, and then I walked some trails like the "Leopard Trail".
I got the Safari a little bit late so I didn't join a tour with Japanese language but I enjoyed with English instructions on the tram.
The most exciting thing for me was the bats, that one if my friend recommend me to see.
There are big ones flying around humans and eating fruits like banana and watermelon.
Though it was frightening for my friend with me...
One of my friend told me that she has visited the Night Safari 3 times in her 8 months staying in Singapore.
Now I agree her.
It's nice and fun place, the Night Safari!!
